At Paradise Alpacas, our focus has always been fixed firmly on the future of the Australian Alpaca industry. As a result, we have worked with other breeders to help improve the standard of huacaya alpacas in Western Australia, and to produce elite stud quality huacayas that will enhance the WA herd.
Should you select a Paradise alpaca, either to purchase or to use in your breeding programme, you will be choosing an alpaca that has been selected or bred for strong bone, good conformation, and a fleece that … … maintains its fineness and softness of handle; … carries and maintains fine, soft primary fibres; … holds its structure; and … maintains its length and density as the alpaca ages.
We can also provide you with some basic advice to help you keep your new herd healthy and breeding successfully.
For those of you with a flair for spinning, felting or other crafts, you may wish to purchase one of our raw Paradise fleeces, which are all fine and remarkably soft. You can choose from whites, light creams & fawns, and a variety colours – some delicate, some rich.
